Plus Models
Combine high strength and low-profile features while meeting EPA container storage regulations
Many spill pallets are quite tall, which is very helpful in meeting the necessary containment capacities to meet the EPA spill containment regulations. But not so helpful when you're trying to load a full drum onto it, or pouring into a drum that's right at a dangerous eye level.
That's PART of the "Plus" in the "Spill Pallet Plus" line. The lower profile (8 3/4" for all pallets except for P1) makes handling and pouring much easier, and safer.
The other advantage is the weight capacities. The Spill Pallet Plus line is capable of handling more weight than the other pallets in our line up.
Available in 1, 2, 3 and 4-drum models, all of the pallets are designed to contain any spill, drips or leaks from 55-gallon drums (or other smaller drum/containers) and meet EPA and SPCC requirements.
- Low 8 3/4" profile positions drum funnels below eye level - significantly reduces the potential for hazardous fluids to splash into the eyes or face
- Nearly 50% lower than standard spill pallets, drum handling is safer and less strenuous.
- Large sump capacities meet SPCC and EPA Container Storage Regulation 40 CFR 264.175 Spill Containment Regulations.
- Removable grates feature a non-slip surface.
- Superior weight capacity of the 4-drum model also allows use with IBCs.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are these Spill Pallets forkliftable?
Yes, the Ultra-Spill Pallets Plus Models are able to be moved/lifted with a forklift or pallet jack. The 4-Drum model is forkliftable from all four sides. The 1,2, and 3-drum models are forkliftable from two sides.
Can I add a drain to my Spill Pallet after its been purchased/delivered?
Yes, there are two different ways that it can be done. Both are easy to do and inexpensive. Please contact us for more information.
I'm not sure if I should get a Spill Pallet with a drain or without. What do you recommend?
Good arguments can be made for either option so it is difficult to give a single recommendation. Some users prefer to have a drain to make clean-up easier. If a spill occurs, the drain plug can be unscrewed and the contents can drain out into an appropriate container. Others feel that the drain plug is something that could be unscrewed (for cleaning or maintenance) and then forgotten. Needless to say, that would make for a very ineffective spill containment pallet.
If I don't have a drain, then how am I supposed to clean up after a spill?
We recommend using a pump like the Bladder Pump (Part# 2345) used with our Spill Deck Bladder Systems. Click here to see a video of it in action.
How many pallets can be put in a single stack for shipping?
Stacking information for each of the Spill Pallets is as follows:
- 1-Drum: 8 high
- 2-Drum: 10 high
- 3-Drum: 10 high
- 4-Drum: 10 high
Regulations
- 40 CFR 264.175
